Bimini Boat Building Bailey Town, is the workshop of local boat builder, Ansil Saunders, creator of “The Bimini Bonefisher”, a custom, handcrafted work of art.

Bimini Craft Centre (AT) has 17 stalls offering authentically Bahamian products. Live entertainment will be highlighted regularly in the new centre.Bimini Museum (AT) 347-3038
Built in 1921 as the Commissioner’s Office and jail, it was abandoned in 1974. In 1999, it was restored by Sir Michael and Lady Barbara Checkley and contains historical artifacts such as old cannon balls, photographs of Ernest Hemmingway and artifacts from the old Rod & Gun Club. Today it is managed by Barbara & Michael Checkley.
Bimini Public Library - Located downstairs just north of the Museum, this library has a variety of literature available for public use.

Built and occupied by local author/historian Ashley Saunders This popular attraction is a walking tour of Alice Town. Its unique structure offers guest quarters and a mini museum.
Bimini Memorial & Heroes Park Alice Town, Bimini
It features a plaque in memory of the World War I and II veterans and the Chalk’s plane crash. There is also a section honouring Heroes who made a contribution to the local community.?
South Bimini
The Bimini Biological Field Station is a facility where the role of the lemon shark in a tropical marine ecosystem is studied.
The Bimini Nature Trail is an attraction where you can get up close and see the plants and animals of Bimini all in their natural environment. The Bimini Boa and other animals are available for handling with guided tours.
The Fountain of Youth, now a small well on the side of the road, was visited by Ponce de Leon in search of this mystical fountain in 1513.

Brother’s Peter Wall, also known as “Bul Peter Well”, is a natural rock well carved by Peter Russell, an ex-slave, to water crops on his farm.
East Bimini
The Healing Hole is a spring of freshwater, with healing minerals, that percolates inside a saltwater mangrove swamp.
Sand Mounds, a 500 foot long, shark-shaped mound thought to be thousands of years old, rises 10 feet above water and is outlined by a sandy beach. Nearby is a rectangular-shaped mound, except for a projection at one end that looks like a fish-hook. Next to that are a cat-shaped mound with a wide open mouth and several other creature-shaped mounds rising above the mangroves.
Outlying Cays
Cat Cay, a private island just south of Gun Cay, has earned a reputation as a place for the rich and famous.
Ocean Cay is close to the site from which aragonite (pure limestone) is dredged from the ocean’s floor to produce cement, fertilizers, glass and other products.
Beaches
The best of which is a quiet continuous stretch of sand known by its three sections, Radio Beach, Blister Beach and Spook Hill, next to a cemetery.

Tours
There are a few individuals that provide tours to the various historical sites and landmarks on Bimini. There are tours to the Fountain of Youth, tours to the Healing Hole, and also comprehensive island tours.
WALKING TOURS
A tour guided by a native historian capturing the history of Alice Town, Bimini. The dolphin house is a popular attraction included in the walking tour. This is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and artwork.
GOLF CART TOURS
To tour the entire island of North Bimini at your own leisure, rent a golf cart from one of the local vendors. Golf carts are available at hourly, daily, and weekly rates. Four seated as well as six seated carts are available. Golf carts are also available for rent on South Bimini.
