Cat Island Rake &
Scrape Festival
This annual event is held during

It is believed that Rake and

century. This fun-filled weekend
lends to total immersion into
Bahamian culture. On Thursday
experience Gospel Night with
the Rahming Brothers, Rev. Carol
Johnson, the Cat Island Rushers,
St. John’s Church choir
and others;
Friday and Saturday nights enjoy
native artists including Chippy,
Ronnie Butler, Ancient Man, Spank
Band and Lassie Doe Boys. Along
with great native music, enjoy
tasty dishes such as conch salad,
fried fish and guava duff along
with a cold Kalik or Sky Juice
or any combination a cold or
hot
tea from the „Bush Tea‰ Bar.

good healthy competition check
